With my Love for travel, just a few tips before leaving

With summer here now, some of you are in the process of traveling be it to the cottage or on a plane headed to Europe or even down south. My passion for travel is very strong and with that I would like to share some of the things that have made my trips less stressful.
  • The first thing I do before planning my trips is lay out my intention for the particular trip. For example: business - to be successful or vacation - to be relaxing. Then I would spiritually call in the Fairies to insure that I will have a fun trip and meet alot of interesting people. I will also call in the Angel Realm and St. Christopher to help me have a safe and protective journey.
  • A good idea is to keep a copy of the travel details at home for friends/family to have as a reference
  • Also keep a copy of travelers cheque receipts there as well
  • Travel with a copy of your passport - just in case you lose it. It may help you to obtain a new one at the embassy of the country where you are at.
  • Contact : credit card companies to inform them of your travels - may help keep an eye on your activities and ease your purchases abroad.
  • Cell phones - if you want to use it, check that it will work abroad
  • Banking - organize all your bill payments, this way you will not come home to late bill payments/extra charges
  • Packing: - I pack with a colour theme in that several pieces match and so do the shoes. This really reduces my frustration on what to wear while on the road. I also bring a small bar of detergent soap just incase I need to wash an item over night.
  • Get some rest before traveling
  • Pack vitamins and remedies that you are comfortable using
  • Always have the currency $$ of the country that you are traveling to - order it from your bank rather than purchasing from an money exchange office at the airport ( less service charges)
  • A reminder that credit card companies do add a small service charge on all foreign purchases
  • If traveling over seas try to take a natural remedy like Jet Lag which may help with reducing jet lag when you arrive.
  • On the plane, drink water and either sleep or meditate during the flight. Not only will your body love it but your soul will as well.
  • Lastly, when you arrive try not to wear sunglasses all the time. The sun naturally helps our body to adjust to the new surroundings.
Remember that when you are in a different country, honour their traditions and rules. Not only is this polite, but what a better way to experience the new surroundings. Finally, if there are any delays, thank God rather than curse Him. Stay positive. There is always a reason. We are just not privy to it just yet. What I like to refer to as Divine Timing.

Safe travels and remember that "the will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you".
